Maple Grove 2001
97 Trans Am at Maple Grove, Pa., July 29th, 2001...

And the thunder quieted,
and the darkness gave way,
and in the coming of the light to the sky there stood, the two.
One of the Ocean, the other of the Mountain. Suddenly togther again,
like the Ghost Riders in the Sky.

Scott's ready to race...
including backseat show trophies.

Scott: "Hmmm... 30psi? Or lower?"
Ron: "I'm running 30psi."
Scott: "Is that what we should be running for traction here?"
Ron: "What the hell do I know, that's what the owner's manual says..."

After being eliminated, we see how the it's suppose to be done.

With racing done for the day, it's back to "showing".

While Scott has Eddie Barra's attention, it's a good time to sneak in and get
some photos of this "you've gotta see this in person to believe it" '86 Trans Am.

Eddie kept yelling at me to take
a photo of the his new fan work...

This unique dash gauges are red LEDS on mirror black background. Which when taking a photo, acts as a mirror.
(Shifter and the reverse "Recaro" logo on the elec/fuel gauge.) Eddie is always in his glory to show me all the subtle
nuances of this gorgeous car when I'm around... with the digital camera.

...including the "I Love My Trans Am" pendant.

So many details to notice... only one set of eyes!
Thanks again, Eddie, for spending so much of your time and money to make this Trans Am
a class act, for setting a standard for others to be judged by and creating an unbelievable
work of art that immortalizes the awesomeness that is Trans Am... in 24k gold!

Who are these two guys?
They race, they show, they go. Each on opposite sides of the Delaware River,
yet they always mysteriously appear together.

Ahhhhh.... nothing like a walk in the Pits to see the other side. Pretty engines... real engines...

Well, when Eddie says it's time to go home... it's time to go home!
